# How to Deposit

RWAPerp supports two deposit methods:

* **Option 1: Deposit from Connected Wallet** — Deposit assets directly from your connected wallet on X Layer.
* **Option 2: Deposit from External Wallet** — Transfer assets from an external wallet or exchange via supported networks, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, and X Layer.

### Option 1: Deposit from Connected Wallet

Deposit USDC directly from your connected wallet on X Layer.

#### Before You Start

Make sure you have the following:

* **Wallet:** OKX Wallet or another supported Web3 wallet.
* **Network:** X Layer. Your wallet must be connected to the X Layer network.
* **Asset:** USDC. Make sure you have sufficient supported USDC on X Layer to deposit.
* **Gas Fees:** X Layer uses OKB as its native gas token. Keep a small amount of OKB in your wallet to cover any applicable network fees.

#### Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

Visit RWAPerp and click **Connect Wallet**.

Select OKX Wallet or another supported wallet and approve the connection.

Make sure your wallet is connected to **X Layer**.

#### Step 2: Select Deposit Method

Click **Deposit** on the trading page and select **Deposit from connected wallet**.

#### Step 3: Enter Deposit Amount

* Select **USDC** as your deposit asset.
* Enter the amount you wish to deposit.
* Review the deposit details before proceeding.

#### Step 4: Confirm Deposit

Click **Deposit** and approve the transaction in your connected wallet.

Wait for the transaction to be confirmed on X Layer.

Once completed, your USDC will be credited to your RWAPerp account and available for trading.

#### Important Notes

* Only supported USDC on X Layer can be deposited through this method.
* If your USDC is on another network, use **Deposit from external wallet** instead.
* Ensure you have enough OKB to cover any applicable gas fees.
* Always verify the deposit amount and transaction details before confirming.

### Option 2: Deposit from External Wallet

**Step 1: Select External Wallet Deposit**

Click **Deposit** and select **Deposit from external wallet**.

**Step 2: Select Asset and Network**

On the deposit page, select:

* **Asset:** Choose the asset you want to deposit, such as USDC.
* **Chain:** Select the transfer network, such as Arbitrum, Ethereum, BNB Chain, or X Layer.

**Important:** Supported assets may vary by network. Make sure both your selected asset and network are supported.

**Step 3: Get Your Deposit Address**

After selecting the asset and network, RWAPerp will generate a **dedicated deposit address** for your selected network.

* Copy the displayed deposit address or scan the QR code.
* Initiate a transfer from your external wallet or exchange.
* Ensure the asset and transfer network exactly match those shown on RWAPerp.

**Example:**

If you select:

* Asset: USDC
* Network: Arbitrum
* Minimum Deposit: 5 USDC

You must transfer **supported native USDC via the Arbitrum network**, with a minimum deposit of 5 USDC.

**Step 4: Wait for Deposit Confirmation**

After completing the transfer, wait for network confirmation and deposit processing.

Once your funds arrive, you can view your balance on RWAPerp and start trading.

### ⚠️ Important Deposit Reminders

1. **Use the Correct Network:** Different networks may have different deposit addresses. Always use the address generated for your selected network.
2. **Send Only Supported Assets:** For example, if you select USDC on Arbitrum, do not send USDT, ETH, USDC.e, or any other unsupported token.
3. **Check Token Versions:** Tokens with similar names may use different contracts. USDC\_Bridged and USDC.e deposits are currently not supported.
4. **Check Minimum Deposit:** Always verify the minimum deposit amount displayed on the deposit page. Transfers below this amount may not be credited.
5. **Avoid Permanent Loss:** Sending unsupported assets or using an incorrect network may result in funds not being credited or permanent loss.

**Always verify the asset, network, deposit address, and minimum deposit amount displayed on RWAPerp before making a transfer.**&#x57;allet may be gasless.
