# Deposits & Withdrawals

#### Prerequisites

To start trading on RWAPerp, you need three things:

* Network — X Layer. The platform is currently live on X Layer, an Ethereum Layer-2 network (EVM-compatible, built with Polygon CDK) offering low fees and fast confirmations. Additional networks will be supported over time.
* Wallet — OKX Wallet. Connect with OKX Wallet, a self-custody Web3 wallet. Support for additional wallets is on the roadmap.
* Collateral — USDC. All positions use USDC as the collateral and settlement currency. You must hold USDC on X Layer to trade.

Note: X Layer uses OKB as its native gas token. You will need a small amount of OKB to cover network transaction fees, though some USDC transfers within OKX Wallet may be gasless.
